Lex Carter
Written by Edward T. Jones.

Lex's interest in radio began from the age of seven or eight. He would regularly beg his Dad to kit-out his bedroom full of CD players and mixing desks as well as plastering his wall with Radio City posters. To him, his bedroom radio station that didn't actually broadcast to anywhere was the most amazing thing in the world. This lasted a few years until he decided he wanted to do it for real. At the age of eleven he made his first demo and sent it to
Radio Broadgreen, a hospital radio station. They thought the demo was extremely good and invited Lex down to their studios to discuss things however he was unable to work for the station as he was under 18.

Time passed and Lex finished secondary school with average GCSE's and joined college to do Media. Here he presented the 'Big Live Drive' on the college's radio station
KCC Live for over 12 months.

When he finished college he decided to not go back but instead to launch and run his own disco and children's entertainment company -
Showstar Entertainment. As well as this Lex ran a monthly music event called 'Punk Rock 101' at Barfly Liverpool. It was at one of his events he first met Davey who asked him to join his radio station, FraggleRADIO.

From then on Lex and Davey have been working together on radio and other projects. As well as working with Davey, Lex still operates Showstar Entertainment (see www.showstaruk.com).

In 2007 Lex took a year out of radio to work at
Haven Holidays as a Funstar and Pontins as a Bluecoat to gain experience to enhance Showstar and introduce children's entertainment.

To date, Lex is working on a highly anticipated script with Davey for a new TV sitcom as well as presenting radio and tv together on regular occasions.
