One faithful day back in 2006, Davey moved his radio station "FraggleRADIO" into the Quiggins centre Liverpool. This would prove to be his best decision ever.

Before the duo met, Lex was working on event management and promotions. Running his own gigs under the name of Punk Rock 101, and working with his dad doing mobile disco's and childrens entertainment (party dances) with Lou.

Davey on the other hand, had set up, and been part of many many different radio stations, both on FM and on the internet. Later he moved into internet TV, and got a job as a mobile network engineer for a computer firm in Manchester.

Lex and Davey first crossed paths in October 2004. Lex was running his event "Punk Rock 101", and a local band called "April in May" were playing at the event. Davey had went along with the band to record their event for re-broadcast later that week on FraggleRADIO.

Davey had spoken with the sound technician and explained what was needed. The sound tech said "when you're ready, just come in and sit yourself down and we'll get some levels"

Easier said than done, Lex was in the box and wouldn't physically let Davey in. During the night, Davey eventually made it in and spoke briefly to Lex, and asked him if he'd think about doing radio. Lex explained that he's just got out of doing radio for a little bit and would possibly consider it in the future.

So that was that.

The next time Lex&Davey met was at Davey's FraggleRADIO gig "Look but don't touch!". Lex was looking at the Barfly listings one day, and seen that we had a gig booked, around 7 days before his christmas event! Lex kinda wasn't happy about this, but it was a genuine mistake!

About 10 minutes before doors opened, one of the Fraggle team went outside to check the queue and Davey was told that there was nobody there! Another 5 minutes went by, and then Terry (Ex Co-Director of FragglePromotions) flew up the stairs at about 40 miles per hour and told Davey that the queue was about 150 people plus long! In this queue, Lex had sent a couple of people down to take a look at the gig and see what it was like. Shortly afterwards, he received a phone call telling him to get down as the gig was going really well. Lex got there about 25 minutes later and came up to say hi. (Editor: We don't think lex was impressed at this point.)

Lex and Davey had a breif chat about gigs and the radio amongst other things, then it was a quick "see ya later" and Lex left, and Davey continued with his work.

With a successful gig under their belt, FraggleRADIO decided to expand their operation and moved thier studio to the Quiggins building in Liverpool City Centre. What a co-incidence.. The first day of moving equipment into the building, who was there in the back of the building.. Lex.

Lex eventually made it upstairs to see the new place, and a quick friendship was built between the two."

They became best of friends as they had the exact same comic attributes. That's where it began!

Since the first faithful day in Feb 2006 when the studio went live, Lex&Davey have constantly been working on material, and providing very different comic entertainment to the general public.

It's been quite a journey for the guys the last few years, and it's one thats not going to end soon!
